The Act on the Protection of Personal Information came into effect in Japan on April 1st 2005 and the management of personal data has since become strict.

Taking into account this respect for privacy, we are also trying to make the alumni website convenient and have therefore made the following rules as stated below.

Those wanting information on friends from exchange student days are asked to obtain it through Yamate graduates.

We apologize for any inconvenience but ask for your understanding and cooperation.

As members of Yamate Alumni Association can consist only of those who have graduated from Yamate High School, log-in access using an ID and password to the members' page (name lists, fees, donations, bulletin and discussion boards) will not be possible for non-graduates.

■

Former exchange students of Yamate wanting access to name lists are asked to do so through friends in Yamate's alumni.

From a privacy standpoint, we are forced to decline the secondary distribution and transfer of name list information to non-graduates. Please contact alumni members directly for this information when necessary.

Former exchange students wanting their information listed on the bulletin and discussion boards are asked to have alumni friends or acquaintances access the members' page and enter the information on their behalf.

■

In the event of any trouble or complaints from members due to unwanted religious or business solicitations arising from the inclusion of this information, further entries (made on behalf of former exchange students) may be either discontinued or prohibited under the same conditions which apply for members.

Please be aware that if such complaints are received, we will be forced to deny further access to the person making the entry on their behalf.

2005年4月1日に個人情報保護法が施行され、日本でも個人情報の管理が厳しくなりました。そうした個人情報保護時代への対応を考慮しつつ、同窓会の HPとしての使い勝手を何とか維持するため、山手学院高等学校に留学されていた方による会員ログイン情報部分（＝名簿・告知板・掲示板等の諸機能部分）へのアクセスについては、次のようなルールを設けております。留学時代のお友だちの連絡先を知りたい方は、高等学校卒業生を通じて情報を入手してください

ご面倒ですが、事情ご賢察のうえご理解ご協力賜りますよう、慎んでお願い申し上げます。

卒業生と接点がない方や、利用方法について質問のある方はこちらから、気軽にお訊ねください。

山手学院卒業生同窓会（＝全体同窓会）の会員は山手学院高等学校の卒業者と定められているため、高校卒業生以外は、ID・パスワードによるログインが必要な会員専用ページ（＝名簿・会費・寄付・告知板・掲示板機能）にアクセスすることができません。

元留学生で名簿情報へのアクセスを希望者する方は、付合いのある、または知り得た会員（＝山手学院高等学校の卒業生）を通じて名簿情報を入手してください。

情報保護の観点から、名簿情報の二次的な配布・転送はお断りせざるを得ません。必要に応じて、都度、会員に依頼してください。

同じく元留学生で告知板・掲示板への情報掲出を希望する方は、名簿情報を提供してくれた友人や知合いに情報の代行掲示を依頼してください。

上記の提供・代行行為に起因して、会員から無差別営業ないし宗教的勧誘行為等に関する苦情が寄せられた場合、または何らかのトラブルが発生した場合は、一般会員同様、以降の（代行）利用を停止または禁止させていただくことがあります。

苦情が寄せられた場合は、情報提供者（＝会員）・掲示代行者も利用停止・利用禁止等の罰則対象とせざるを得ません。予めご了承ください。
